MAX

A Jersey boy turned New York City fitness professional. As a former Division I college baseball player, Max brings his on-the-field experience to class for a tough but rewarding workout. After graduating from Indiana University in 2017, Max stepped into the world of personal training and fitness. He has experience a Founding Trainer at GRIT BOXING, and Barry’s Bootcamp. When he’s not teaching, you can find Max on a bike, in the water, or going for a run training for his next triathlon… or wearing matching sweaters with his adorable dog Dax.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM MAX’S CLASSES:

Max is a best-in-class trainer because he cares about his students and about building a better you, one punch at a time. He’s here to make you smile, make you sweat, and build up that boxer grit and determination. Max's classes are full of high energy, a positive attitude, and Bieber fever. He strives to create an environment where everyone can find success and celebrate their wins instead of their misses.

“Approach every obstacle as an opportunity.”

How do you describe your training style?

My training style is very straight forward but with major emphasis on PMA -- positive mental attitude! Yes, training is hard (as it should be) but it should never be discouraging or negative. My style and goal is to create an environment where people can be successful and celebrate the good rather than fret over the bad. I’m all for simplicity and efficiency. Let’s get in, let’s work hard, and let’s have a great damn time.

Favorite music genre to do workouts to?

I can literally workout to anything -- hip hop, pop, country, EDM, alternative. But, if I had to pick one genre it would be pop/top hits.
