Trainer Top Summer Workouts Picks

We asked our all-star trainers: What are YOUR favorite workouts? These trainers spend a lot of time in front of the camera recording your next workout. But these are their all-time favorites from the past few months:

Trainer GW

3 Song Mitt Drill 50 Years Of Hip Hop (released 8/14/23)

This 3-song Mitt Drill workout with Trainer GW is a great way to get in a quick sweat and practice those boxing combos. You’ll use all 6 targets on the Liteshield as you get those arms working and muscles pumping. And the beat of some of the top names in the game will keep you going with tracks “Regulate” by Warren G featuring Nate Dogg, “I Ain’t No Joke” by Eric B. & Rakim, and “Check Yo Self” by Ice Cube. Get ready to bring the heat in your punches, rack up those points, and show GW your best combos.

Trainer Aliyah

4 Song Mitt Drill 50 Years Of Hip Hop (released 8/10/23)

Trainer Aliyah was raised in a heavy hip hop household, so it’s safe to say she’s a fan. And this 4 song workout is her way of honoring the artists she grew up listening to in the '90s and early 2000s. Get ready to bring your energy levels sky-high as you box to the beat of Lil Wayne, Eve, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg. Throughout the class, Aliyah encourages you to start slow to learn each combo before adding on and bringing it all together for one non-stop workout. She wants you to keep your guard up, add more power, and wear out those arms so you can finish strong and celebrate big.

Trainer Max

30 min Dance Pop (released 7/8/23)

Get ready for eight rounds of non-stop boxing with Trainer Max in this 30-minute EDM-powered Trainer Class. Long combos, short combos, ducks, slips… this workout has it all. Plus some fire dance electronic music from artists like Axwell & Ingrosso, Hedegaard, Jonas Blue, Avicii, and more to help keep you on beat and powering through this workout. You’ll start in those first few rounds getting warmed up with two and three-punch combos. Then, you’ll layer on as the workout progresses with up to 7-punch combos and a bit more speed. So if you came to sweat and work hard, this is the class for you.

Trainer Jill

4 Song Shoulders and Triceps Mixtape (released 7/20/23)

Let’s target those shoulders and triceps in this upper body-focused workout. In that first round, you’ll stick with bodyweight exercises to warm up the muscles with shoulder pulses, lateral and front raises, shoulder presses, and tricep kickbacks. Then in round two, you’ll pick up those dumbbells to focus on your shoulders with two rounds of shoulder presses and lateral raises. In round three you’re targeting the triceps with tricep kickbacks, extensions, and dips. You’ll then put it all together in that last round with a little shoulder and tricep work to burn it out to the end. Can you make it to the end of the workout? This upper-body burner is definitely a challenge! But Pat Benatar, Gwen Stefani, the Spice Girls, La Roux, and of course your always-upbeat Trainer Jill help you power through.

Trainer JD

3 Song Total Strength 2000s Hip Hop (released 8/9/23)

Throw it back to the 2000s with Trainer JD in this Total Strength workout with hip hop hits that will get you moving and full-body exercises that will get you sweating. It’s the perfect combo for a great workout. In each song, you’ll focus on three rounds of exercises that together target your full body. In round one, you’ll start with those legs, shoulders, and core with squats, shoulder presses, and a seated twist. In round two, you’ll work on reverse lunges and bent-over rows. Then you’ll finish up in round three with Romanian deadlifts and squat thrusters. And JD helps you not just rep out the exercises, but rep it out with proper form. Making this a great workout for everyone from the beginner to the strength training pro.

Trainer Lissa

3 Song Total Body Pop (released 6/19/23)

Get the blood flowing and your energy levels high in this 3-song Total Body class with Trainer Lissa, featuring music from The Weeknd. In round one, you’ll start by getting nice and low in those squats before you slam the battle ropes. In round two, you’ll rotate between battle ropes and reverse lunges before hitting the speed bag as fast as you can. Then in the last round, you’ll burn out those legs and arms with a curtsy lunge to knee drive and defensive rolls to double arm battle rope slam. You’ll finish strong with the speed bag all the way to the end. It might be less than 10 minutes, but you’ll be sweating plenty in this workout.
